Postpartum
Postpartum Low Mood & Depression
The postnatal period can feel very different from what many people expect. Alongside love and joy, there can also be overwhelm, grief, anxiety, loneliness, exhaustion, guilt, and emotional disconnection.
I provide compassionate, evidence-based support for mothers experiencing low mood and depression during the postpartum period. My professional experience, alongside personal insight into difficult birth experiences and parenting a high-needs baby, allows me to offer support that feels understanding, honest, and non-judgemental.
Postpartum Anxiety
Postpartum anxiety can involve constant worry, racing thoughts, intrusive fears, overchecking, panic, overwhelm, and difficulty relaxing or switching off.
Therapy focuses on understanding anxiety, reducing overwhelm, building confidence, and helping you feel more emotionally supported and grounded during an incredibly demanding stage of life.
Birth Trauma & FLASH Technique
Birth trauma can impact emotional wellbeing, confidence, attachment, sleep, and feelings of safety long after birth itself. Some parents experience flashbacks, panic, guilt, avoidance, or intrusive memories linked to their birth experience.
Alongside trauma-focused CBT approaches, I offer the FLASH Technique, which can help process traumatic memories in a gentler and less overwhelming way for some individuals.
My approach is compassionate, validating, and paced carefully to ensure therapy feels emotionally safe
Postpartum OCD
Postpartum OCD is often misunderstood and can feel incredibly frightening and isolating. Intrusive thoughts around harm, contamination, responsibility, or safety can create significant distress and shame.
I provide evidence-based CBT support in a safe, non-judgemental environment where you can speak openly about experiences that may feel difficult to share.
