Social Anxiety
Social anxiety can feel exhausting and isolating. You may find yourself overthinking conversations, worrying about being judged, avoiding social situations, or replaying interactions long after they’ve happened. Over time, this can impact confidence, relationships, work, education, and daily life.
Using evidence-based CBT approaches, I help clients understand the cycles that keep social anxiety going and gradually build confidence in a way that feels manageable and realistic. Together, we work on reducing self-criticism, shifting unhelpful thinking patterns, and developing strategies that allow you to engage more freely and authentically in social situations.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and non-judgemental. I understand how vulnerable social anxiety can feel, particularly for young people and neurodivergent individuals who may have spent years masking or feeling misunderstood.
